Project Factory are sub-contactors to Hyder Consulting
(UK) Limited, and together we have successfully secured MOD Framework for
Technical Support (FATS) 2.
This enables The Project Factory to bid for opportunities the framework
generates, and use it as a route to market not only for MOD tasking orders, but
unlike FATS/1 we can also utilise it with other HMG departments -
- Security Services,
- Cabinet Office,
- Home Office
- Police Forces
- Etc
This major success increases our presence this year from a
previous 32 categories, up to 72, allowing us greater visibility of
opportunities and more avenues to market
FATS as a framework was launched in 06/07 as part of the DLO/DPA procurement
reform, something which is seen as an ongoing strategy within the new DE&S and
we hope to see more opportunities through FATS as the multitude of older
frameworks it is designed to replace run their course and their sponsoring IPTs
begin to place their new requirements through FATS/2.
